Hush Hair Systems (“HHS”) and Ellextensions values our customers, their information, their privacy and their trust. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information collected through our websites. Specifically, this Policy applies to HHS and Ellextensions collection, use, processing, storage, and transfer of information associated with HHS and Ellextensions website, www.hushhairsystems.com (the “Site”). Information We Collect
Information Collected Directly From You
When you report a problem with our Site or services, we will collect your name and email address along with a description of your problem so that we may address your problem. When you contact us at an email address on this Site via email, we will collect your email address and any information you include in your email to similarly address your concerns. We keep this information for a reasonable period of time in our legitimate interest in informing you about products or services of ours that may be of interest to you.
We collect your email address and password when you create an account on our Site. We use this information to confirm your registration initially and to confirm your identity when you later log in to your account. We also use this information to respond to customer service requests, administer your account, improve the operation of our Site, conduct research and analysis of how our customers use our Site, and offer you products and services that may be of interest to you. For information we collect from you to complete a purchase, we retain that information for as long as necessary to process your payment and for an additional sixty (60) days afterwards.
Our partner on this Site, Square Inc, collects additional information during the processing of purchases and charges on our behalf (including your credit or debit card number, billing address, telephone numbers, type of card, expiration date, and CVV number) as part of our legitimate interest in processing payment for your purchases. Your credit card information is only kept for as long as necessary to process the payment and then is deleted from our system.
In the absence of a legal obligation to the contrary, we keep your contact information (name and email address) for a reasonable period of time after your last contact with us and only to allow us to inform you of potential products or services of ours that may be of interest to you. No information is kept indefinitely and is only used as described in this Policy.
Our Site is not directed to children under age 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. Children under 13 should not provide their Personal Information to us through our Site, to customer service, or in writing. If we learn that Personal Information belonging to anyone under the age of 13 is stored on the Site, we will immediately delete such information and refrain from using it for any purpose.
Cookies

We also use log files when you visit our Site. Log files track IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP) identity, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We utilize this information in our legitimate interest in administering the Site, preventing fraud, tracking website navigation in the aggregate, and gathering broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Web beacons, also known as clear GIFs, are often used in combination with cookies. Often transparent, these images are part of web pages, and allow us to count users who have visited certain pages and to generate statistics about how our Site are used. They are not used to access Personal Information.
Pixel tags enable us to send email messages in a format customers can read, and they tell us whether mail has been opened. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to customers.

We partner with NetSuite to process payments for HHS and Ellextensions products and services NetSuite may also have access to your contact information as part of this process. Similarly, the hosts of our website, Shopify, and Wheelhouse, may have access to information regarding your activities on the Site as part of their operation and continued maintenance of the Site. All such processing is performed using industry standard security and privacy procedures.
Sharing Your Personal Information
As a general rule, we do not sell any information we collect from you. We will not disclose any of your Personal Information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described in this Policy. For instance, we may share your Personal Information in the following circumstances:
